Henry Irwin is a well-known singer of opera and oratorio in the Toronto area and southern Ontario, having performed as a soloist with groups like Opera York, Southern Ontario Lyric Opera, Opera Belcanto, Tryptych Productions, No Strings Theatre, Opera by Request and The Hart House Choir, among others.

Mr. Irwin’s association with Daniel Eby, music producer and voice teacher in both Canada and the USA, spans decades both as artistic collaborator and as a vocal student. Recently he rejoined Daniel to help promote a revival of Daniel’s long-running cabaret, The Magical Journey from Mozart to Musicals, with the aim of reviving cabaret-style theatre in Toronto, possibly for a restaurant but also to create a small versatile show that can be presented in places like retirement homes, community centres and corporate events. Mr. Irwin offers his experience as a writer to create either a storyline or a monologue to bind the musical numbers together with a fresh voice.
